I can’t say I entirely agree with this policy. As outofprint has pointed out this is already happening (or so we are left to assume). Who decides what is or isn’t irrelevant? Is it going to get to a stage where people aren’t allowed to criticise, mock or even disagree with the higher-ups of Tumblr? Will the attitude be “Don’t upset me or I’ll spank you take your tumblelog out of the Directory.”?
Probably just me over-reacting to one line taken out of context, but this is how it starts. OK I am being a little silly but the point remains.
